My new dodge tow rig and trailer - not 56k friendly

A Sgt from Iraq emails me on Christmas day and bought my Explorer for much more than I was asking....so we decided to invest in a towing setup.

The rig is an 06 Power Wagon with 26k on the clock. The trailer is brand spaking new with 2k on the clock now after the trip.

Pics tell the story...

Locker switches and electric swaybar disco.

Heated Leather

The angry hemster.

Randomly missing Warn 12k winch....dropped the price quite a bit.

What we're towing:

nice setup, 4.56 gears should work good for towing

Yup, they help. It's much nicer than towing with a WJ.

I'm 99% sure they are standard equipment on the Power Wagon.

The hemi had no problem towin the Jeep. It still shifts on long hills, but it felt much easier. IMO it did felt better than towing with the 350 and the 6.0 chevy engines I used to tow with.

Bump it to 100%.

4.56s, lockers, sway bar disconnect, winch + hemi = Power Wagon.

They pull like the 5.9's. They have similar numbers at 2,000 - 2,600 RPM. Where you spend most of your time pulling a trailer.

Around town the Hemi spanks the 360 though.
