Someone who knows more about politics may know for sure. But I thought that the democratic votes do not count anyway. Since they moved the date of the election up the votes do not count, this is the case in Florida as well. Some goofy Demo rule that if the date is change after a set date then the primary will not count.

They won't knock Levin because he has been in office so long. The Dems are firm believers in political longevity so their old guard can do no wrong. Ted Kennedy a prime example. Try to find anything positive that Carl(Marx)Levin has ever done. GOOD LUCK
