Default Winter Driving

How or why is it that people continue to forget how to drive in the snow? I just got back from a trip from Holly to Flint and I saw a jack knifed semi in the ditch. Almost closing down all of I-75. This was on the way to Flint. On my way back a car spun out in front of me because he ran out of plowed road. Is it that people have hardkor3 ADD and just forget from snow storm to snow storm or do they just never learn?

Semi jacknifed because of the other morans on the road. But you know when it warms up everybody thinks its summer and drives like it then just can't make that quick adjustment to winter again you know. That be the one reason I hate the winter and want to move south to FL or AL or it could just be that this MI:stan3:, but that is another issue that is for another time.

I've noticed a higher than usual number of overly cautious people this year. Like 30 in a 45 on a road that's not that bad. Drives me insane.

It isn't related to snow, rain, or sun. People just can't drive period.

I lived in FL and let me tell you the drivers arent any better, as soon as it rains they forget how to drive and that is everyday. Plus all of the snow birds go down there and they are like 80 and shouldnt be on the road anyway. They drive 25 on the highway.

My prof was stuck behind a jack knifed Pepsi truck on that same stretch this morning so I got up early and went to my 8am for nothing.
