Default solenoid questions

Ramsy 8K. I think the solenoids finally gave up and died, all they do is click. Does anyoe know where I can get these locally? It looks like just a 4 post solenoid, with the little tab on the top that the wire from the remote goes into.

If they have been replaced before someone may have used a ford solenoid. Ramsey has a HD version that doesn't wear out as quickly. If you are going to use the ford style, get marine ones. They are sealed, and see if your autoparts store offers them in the HD.

you can use the HD ones that go with snow plows, they can take the heat cycles, regular car starter ones can't
