if you only have PL/PD about the only recourse you would have is if you have the other partys ins. info. Then, you could get a mini-tort settlement from their insurance company. If you ask for 500.00 or less, they cant (or wont) contest it.

You will have to prove fault. I went through this too. I was not prepared to prove fault and lost. Insurance coverd the cost because it was on my policy.

trucks fine, just uglier. It has a new 2 foot high dent in the bedside and one on the door. I can prob bump it out myself if I really have to, but im trying to have a shop do it. Check your policy.

Typically, damage while parked is covered under "comprehensive" coverage. Unless you're only carrying PLPD.
