Default rust free 92 explorer

  • 1992 2wd explorer
  • 4.0 5 speed
  • 175xxx miles

The good
  • Rust Free
  • Runs, Drives, Stops
  • Quiet engine
  • Don't smoke
  • Decent interior

Fixed the pass. rear window, and the rear driver door opens now

The Bad
  • Gas Gauge don't work
  • Door pins are loose
  • crack in front window
  • rear driver window don't work

it also grinds shifting into third sometimes, and sometimes you have to hold it in fourth.

i really want to trade this for a bronco II or older bronco.(not a fullsize) Would consider a small 4x4 such as a tracker, sami, jeep....
located in 49091

only rust i've found

bumper is kinda uneven

crack in windsheild

Dent in hatch

if it's rusty i don't care. so long as the body mounts seem solid and the rear hatch isn't on the frame rails yet

it's got a drum rear end with 373's open, in case someone was thinkin of going 4wd with it.

i'd really like a third gen ranger with a stepside bed for trade as well.

ground clearance i suppose and a much larger interior space
easy ability to turn it into a SAS 4wd rig

that's pretty clean for the year - are the exploders a beam front, same as rangers? That would be sweet with bent beams, extended radius arms, some 2.5" body shocks up front and a set of deavers in the rear...

bump for the potential :)
