Well good to know. I did have a dnr guy stop me on the other side of the bowl.

I don't know the directions well cause i get turned around. But if you go off that main trail threw the bowl there are some trails that run along a ridge. One at the bottom and one at the top.

He just asked if i had any guns in the car. Lucky i guess cause if the bowl is off limits those trails must be to. Only access is threw the bowl.

You can get to those trails from east up sweeter then left(north) and follow it till it meets the orv system. You will cross orv trails many times back there. Most of those trails(at this moment) are somewhat legal.

Unfortunatly, yes. We try to promote responsible wheeling here. Sullivan sahare is also illegal along with everything on powerlines. Sorry to piss on your parade. Join great lakes four wheel drive assoc to become part of the solution instead of part of the problem. I'm not going to beat you up for not knowing any better. We were all young and uninformed once.

sigh...the power lines roads are marked along the two track saying public land, and then some are marked stay out because of endangered species. The sections marked stay out are also blocked with tree stumps. If its iligal to drive down these two tracks why don't they just block them off at the road instead of a mile from it?

Have I been going down these roads iligally my whole life? Thats wierd because i've seen so many other people while doing it.

Okay, but answer this, technically if it were a legal ORV route, am I mistaken that "mudding" would still be promoting erosion and thus a ticket-able offence.

And to the OP, I was not trying to bash you, just wanted to let you know that this tread was gonna start some trouble as many on this site are passionate about protecting the sport.
