Just put a screw driver in the pin hole and tight them up beyond hand tight. Then put the screw driver in your glove box. That is what I use to do with my vehicles I drove on the street.

YES, and I have to ask ifany of you ever have a problem w/ your gasoline getting stolen? I just installed new gasoline and am a little leary about leaving all 12 gallons in there.. wouldn't take much to steal it.. and it wouldn't take much to leave it out of the Jeep till I go driving..

any comments?:tonka:

just a thought.. soft top..zip out windows...are they really safer inside?

if you are worried about rust and chips put them inside, if you are worried about stuff getting stole you might want to get a hard top.

I'm getting the impression here that there really should never have been a question about whether or not they would get stolen... I need to leave them off otherwise I'm being a poser ... gooooot it..

glad to see your starting to understand.. or go all out mount the high lift on the bumpers as well put on the shackles leave your strap on as well so the UV can kill it and wrap a chain around the rear just to be safe and let it rust as well, that plus your dune flag everyone will know you mean business at the mall

Weld the Shackle to the tab so they can't swing, but if you've chrome plated them the welding may discolor the chrome.

Like above, I fully weld the pin to the shackle and then the pin to the Tab

x10 12 years and I have never had one stolen. you can tighten them tight enough that even with pliers a thief would not waste his time trying to take one.
