Sweet! Thanks for posting that video. I forgot all about that process. We did that back in junior high science class. I have been grinding, wire brushing then coating with rust mort all winter. I'm definitely going to get this process going on my rusty Jeep parts.

I saw that episode! Good info but my battery charger is one of those stupid computer chip controlled things! guess I'll have to start looking at garage sales for an older one to do this with.

They have it near the laundry detergent at Meijer.

I tried this over the weekend, i had mixed results.

It seemed to remove the rust fairly well, but it took 3 days and i still had to touch up a few areas with a wire wheel.

Not too bad if your willing to wait awhile.

We tried it once, it worked to an extent. Took a majority of the rust off, but there was still a bunch left.

So I have have been collecting parts for the next build and need to do some clean up.
These were all done wile I was sleeping or at work.
After it is removed there was about 2 min. of clean up tops .I used compressed air and a wire brush. I could have probly used a rag {shurg}

I am working on a biggger tank to do a axle housing ,leaf springs ect...
