Did you have to modify the rad fan shroud, the steering coupler or the fuel filler hose to get teh body lift to work?

do yourself a favor and start with something more mod friendly if you are going to get serious about offroading. If you just want to look "cool" and hit 2 tracks then stick with what you have. a 98-04ish blazer zr2 would be a perfect base truck.

the axle does go through the oil pan. but the oil pan in cast alum. so its molded there for no seals or anything because they do offer the envoy in 2wd. ive got a oil pan for the inline 6 if you need one its brand new never been used. i can also get a pic for everyone to see how its designed. also if anyone wants to see its pretty weird how it just slides in and bolts up on one side of the oil and and sticks out the other side.

That's a pretty cool looking Vehicle ya got there. Just because it's not a Jeep, doesn't mean you can't wheel/build it. I agree that it's more challenging to use an Unconventional Vehicle for an Off road rig. I'll Probably get flamed for this...But.....Jeeps are Too Easy to Lift/Mod/Etc. Everyday you can see a Lifted Jeep driving down the road. How many Envoys do you see going down the road lifted? Or in my Case, Explorers? I'd rather have to do alittle more work and have something unique. Jeeps are cool, but If you've every seen a serious off road capable explorer...It'll knock your socks off. Keep up the good work.

Went looking for a pic showing the front axle/oil pan, closest I have found so far.

Not sure I would like this setup...

I remember driving these things when they come out and the salesman was clueless talking about yea its new but they will have lifts for it soon i laughed and asked if he knew about that front axle, he didn't see that as a problem....i applaud you in trying this and would like to see how it goes moving forward or if anyone has actually lifted one of these with a suspension?
