Default Snow storm of the year in TN.

I am glad I kept at least my snow shovel. I know it isn't 13+ inches but it is snow

This is the first snow fall of the year, by far the most snow I have seen this season. Also the coldest... it has been 34* ALL day

I'm allll the way on the east side of the state from you, we didn't even get that much, I think I counted 6 flakes! last month we went to VA for work and that was a cluster with bad ice and 2inches of snow, drivers here are scary when it comes to that.

I drove thru knoxville this morning, I can't believe that everyone stayed on the road with all that snow! Now I'm in Charlotte, NC and people think it's freezing out at 40!

They will because they "don't have the proper equipment" to handle it. LOL Plus people tell me that when they call for snow you need to go get your "staples" from the store or you will be out of luck. They weren't kidding either. A few weeks ago they mentioned it may snow and you couldn't get any bread...ANYWHERE!! It is crazy here

That must be a southern thing, cuttin' up the ''snow'' with a penny instead of a razor blade.

My brother-in-law lives in Roanoke. He said they shut everything down when they get "2 of snow there. He said it was so funny the one day it was snowing and everyone was in a panic and it was just a dusting.

I do have to admit, I wouldn't want to drive some of those roads there with much snow on them.

they shut down I-75 in TENN. last night due to a 1/2" of snow. i was coming home from florida and hit a dead stop 12 miles from the kentucky border. sat idle for almost 2 hours before cops starting escorting cars down the 5 mile hill into jellico. on the bright side I got to stay the night at the jellico motel, which is always a good time.
