Question Do you have a memory of before you were two years old?

With our grand daughter home this week, we were wondering if babies had memories of before they were 2 yrs old.

I have 2 memories before 2 yrs. old. But the only reason that I know they were before 2 is because my parents were divorced shortly after I turned 2 and both memories are from the house that they owned jointly.

I think, at that age, it may have to be something atleast mildly traumatic.

I remember being in the kitchen of my Aunt's house. Someone was holding me. A short man came inside, and I was afraid of him. Didn't know who he was. Saw a picture of the same guy, when I was in my late teens. It was my Grandfather, (Dad's Dad). He died when I was two.
