use the e brake when you do this again, it will help get traction to both rear wheels

definatly not one of your brightest ideas. o well at least you didn't sink the bastard. you were definatly on the little beach thing they have there to the right of the boat launch as your looking at the lake. good thing you didn't get caught.

You only get fined for going through the ice. If you do not remove the vehicle from the lake. Frozen bodies of water are open to recreational travel and you must obey the same trail laws on frozen bodies of water as on dry land.

The DNR can not go busting in your door to look in your fridge with out warrant. If they did that would be illegal search and siezure. The DNR has no extra authority then any regular LEO.

Most people bring boats with them to the boat launch.

Some are just less skilled than others.

how come the date on the pics are 12/14/06 if you did this this year

if you did that on that date then you went through the ice before even joining this web site

Default I wont say anything A.J.

I went through the ice on Higgins lake many years ago with a snowmobile. Lucky for me it wasn't deep. With my face in the water I was able to grab the loops on the skis and get it out. Pulled the plugs, tipped it over and cranked it to get the water out. Started it and made to a buddies cabin. We then resumed drinking idiot oil. Lucky to be alive

I never understand why people drive there trucks on the ice. I just dont see the point, what do you get out of it other than a sinking truck?

its kind of fun to drive on a lake, Like "hey look at me i'm driving on a lake" sort of way, can be fun to drift on, etc. But other than that i don't see the point.
