Kerwin... does your Church play this?

The first time I heard it it was instantly a "new favorite"

A few days later I found out they're a Christian rap group....

I'm not Kerwin, But We play all of those songs at The camp I work at. At the begining of our Chapel (we call it SMASH) we play a few songs for the kids to Dance around too. We tend to stay away from those songs around the High schoolers as they seem to like to Grind to them.
So yeah, Christian Camp + Bumping and Grinding = Pissed off Parents.

Grits has been around for a while. Maybe 2 or 3 years. It's hard to come by "good" Christian rap.

I used to play most of those songs by grits at the youth group I was a group leader at. I have a few of their CD's, they usually don't put out anything lame. Grits is the best christian hip hop group by far.

here is what my church DOES play: http://www.paradoxchurch.com/?page_id=129

I wish we had a Decent Radio Station in Lansing. The best Christian Station is SmileFM and they do pretty good, If you like "Family Friendly" music. The best Station I've heard is probably Yesfm. They are out of Toledo/Wausian. I think thier site is Yeshome.com. They are more Focused on Young people so they play the harder stuff

Nice. When I played with our church band in Detroit, we played all of the same stuff. I like it all!

Good news! Not saying anything was wrong with SmileFm, I just wish they would play more Younger Generation stuff that isn't....er.....Yeah.

On a side note, I always thought they should name the station in Lansing the truth. Because then it would be "The way" The truth" "the Light" across the state. It would be corny, and that's probably why I thought of it.

And, if you don't like "the light" in Detroit. Smile will soon be adding towers there.
