Yep, apartently, buying a few more cardboard boxes would have broke the budget:miff: Test jump 15 looked pretty good, though.. more or less did the flip.
Even my wife said "they brought in 3million in dirt for the landing ramp the size of the football field but couldnt get the other guy 25 dollars worth of boxs in case he went 10 feet too far". I said "guess not". The truck jump would have been way cooler.
The backflip would have been awesome, I watched the footage they did play of the practice runs last night.
The bike jump was ok, though I find it funny they keep comparing these guys to Evel Knievel. Knievel used a bike 2-3x as heavy with barely any suspension compared to these new ones.
in the slow play you can see where the ramp failed !!!:stan:
with the increase in speed they needed to increase the resistance on the first ramp to prevent it from just drooping down when the tires first hit it :tonka:
everyone said you cant flip a bike or snowmobile.now look at were the sports are gone.alot of people were hurt doing both.in a couple years they will be flipping trucks and landing them like nothing.must progress the sports to keep things alive.he is having a good recovery and will be back at it soon.he made a couple of statements and just was bummed out he could not pull the trick live in vegas.so robby madison jumped i believe 318 feet.that was sweet...
