Question Thinking of starting a business

I am thinking of starting a business, need something I can do on a flexible schedule, I have a very demanding job, requiring 50 hours of work per week, and the schedule is constantly changing. On top of that I refferee hockey games on the side for extra cash, so this needs to be something I can do on my time.
I have thought about a T-shirt business, it's simple, good proffit margins, and not much up front expense. Does anyone know how much a screen printing machine costs or where i can get a good used one?
If you have any ideas get back to me.

where are you located and age? I have some friends in grand rapids area that are into graphic arts and screen printing, they may have even been doing well for their business for students, i havenot talked to them in a year or so, but they are creative and experienced...maybe this could be a great opportunity.

but let me know how that goes for you because I am VP Recruitment, so I need a loyal person to make some good shirts for our sorority...going to be running by late summer ?
