Default ***Sold***Dana 300 and complete rebuild kit $250 firm.***PRICE DROP $200***

***NEW PRICE $200...I don't want to move it to Marquette with me***
I have a Dana 300 that I bought to flip and install in my YJ. I cleaned it up really good, POR-13'd and painted the case and bought a complete rebuild kit for it. Hell...I even made a cheesy little rack for it to move it around and work on it while it is sitting on the shelf. It is in great shape but I have the complete rebuild kit for it. Bought from Killer"B" and he told me it was missing a few needle bearings from when he took it apart for inspection. I put all of them back that I found...but there is a new set in the rebuild kit. It still spins really smoothly. I have taken the yolks off and lightly tapped them back on so tear down should be really easy for the rebuild. I have $250 cash and a bit of sweat equity into it but I only expect to get $250 out of it...firm. Where it was missing yolk bolts I put new ones in. Where it was missing a pin on the shifter I put a new one in with new cotter pins. Here are pics.

Fair price for sure. The AA rebuild kits alone are about $160 shipped anymore.

People tend to overlook new bearings and seals when they swap these in... but most are 25+ years old now.

I still have this for sale...will take $220. You won't find one cleaner. I wire wheeled the entire case and POR-13'd it. Then painted it with Dupli-Color black primer and Gloss Black. Its pristine.

I had a few questions asked of me. Answers: this is 23 spline input and it is not flipped yet. My intention was to buy a 21-23 spline adapter and flip it to put it in my YJ...but I've decided to simply rebuild my NP231 for now. I paid $100 for the Dana 300 and $150 for the master rebuild kit. Was told that the case spun really smooth even without being rebuilt. I cleaned up the case and made a little wooden stand to carry it around (from my apartment to work, where I was going to work on it). My loss is your gain. $220. Thanks for the bump Mr. Jefferson. It is a good deal...I'd like it gone so I can continue on with my rebuilds.

Bump for price drop. I am moving to Marquette and don't really want to lug this heavy thing with me. New price is $200. I have $250 into it as well as a few hours of sweat equity.

I've been really busy moving lately and every day that gti3893 wanted to stop by last week I was busy. I have to thank him for his persistence. It was great meeting him tonight...I am jealous of your planned buildup. Thank you very much for saving me from having to lug it up to Marquette. SOLD
