No, my daddy's little spermies and my mommies eggs gave me a brain. Your fantasy overlord had no part in creating my reality.

I really don't care.

I don't care if people exchange holiday greetings or what words they use to do it.
I don't care what anyone thinks about the words they use.
I don't care how anyone else feels about the fact that some people do care.
And I don't what you think of me for not caring.

I wish people would just go about their life's and quit worrying so much about what everyone else is doing. I think thats what has ruined the holidays for me is that rather it be a season of joy and celebration it's become a season to bitch and moan.

Not that any of you should care what I think about it.

Sounds about right. Everybody has their own fantasy Overload

I like my Fantasy overload. (Creationism) It has a Character and cares about me. Which one you believe doesn't effect Biology, Just the way you look at it. My God created you, and your big bang theory put me together randomly.

I agree. Scrambler is a unexperienced. Once anyone goes to church and gets that weird feeling in them while prayer is going on. They will know whats going on. And hopefully learn that they have been seriously lead in the wrong direction on the whole thing.

Take your honesty one step further and admit that you don't have a clue. I am not trying to be part of the holier than thou crew, because I know I am a sinner with problems. However, if you are going to speak out against something, at least have some bullets in your gun. And you would not waste your time getting your feathers ruffled over some fantasy world. You know that there is some kind of validity to faith in Jesus, and I think it would be time well spent to actually have a reason to pass on it. I know for me that anytime I have investigated Christ further, it has never lead me further from faith, it has always lead me closer. Of course this would not simply be a mission to show how I hate it, but an honest inquiry for truth. Just something to think about.

Dave I appreciate your faith. I just don't believe in it. To me religion was invented by the aristocracy as a way to control the peasants. It was a way to explain the unexplainable. Look at a small child. How do they explain things they don't understand? They make up fantastic stories. I believe strongly that this is how the leaders long ago tried to explain where the world came from to the people they ruled. Then it branched out into making moral rules because the big god in the clouds wanted it to be so or you would be struck by lightning kind of stuff. Religion was nothing more than a tool of governments to control their people. Unfortunately, that hasn't changed.

Don't look folks . . just more mumble jumble based on guesses and assumptions by a guy that doesn't know enough to argue his side of the argument but continues anyway.

So I love when George Bailey is runing down the street at the end of "It's a Wonderfull Life" (it has angels and stuff so you might get offended 84Scrambler if you watch it) and he's yelling "Merry Christmas Bedford Falls"

I wonder what that scene would be like it the movie was produced to day. Probably no angels, No merry Christmas and NO hark the herold angles sing around the piano at the end of the film . . . it would be a shame.

You can say Happy Holidays and I will say Merry Christmas and neither of us should be offended. How's that?

EDIT: OK, who's f'ing with my post. I just rechecked this thread and my message had been changed. I'm changing it back so LEAVE IT!

Edit v.2.0: Now I see, some mod is messing with you. Every "Happy Holidays" is being changed to "Merry Christmas"

Shoot I was brought up in a split religion household Catholic(Mother) and Episcopalian(Catholic light). I was brought up Catholic but always got a double dose of Church on the holidays because we would go see my Grandpa preach since he was an Episcopalian Priest. So in conclusion people need not worry what other people think or say!

Drew, don't be a douche, there is no war on Christmas, this is America and we have the freedom of speech, so say whatever the funk you want. Remember that America is made up of more than just Aryan Christians though, and they may say something to you that you don't want to hear, but they have just as much a right to say what they say as you do.

My only problem with religion is when it tries to mingle with politics, Religion, know your role!

My uncle is the manager of the Ace Hardware I worked at. He is a very Christian fellow so when this time of year comes around, he always puts up a sign by the time clock as a reminder to the employees that X-Mas is never to be used, and that it is Christmas.
He doesn't care about offending anybody who isn't of the same beliefs as he is. I don't care either.

I know you don't believe, but I am encouraging you to know why you don't, and for it to be a very calculated decision. Personally, I am not willing to take the risk on missing eternal life over something as simple as not taking time to investigage. There is too much to lose NOT to investigate.

Let me challenge you. Your theory is nice and all, but it does not account for real history, and more importantly, it does not account for the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus is THE central point of all things Christianity, THE center. So for you not to address Jesus is you not addressing Christianity at all. So again, let your investigations go into the person of Christ, see then if you pass.

You'd better watch what you say. When they make a movie about you, AMC78CJ7 is going to tell people not to go see it.
