Actually, once I saw he had a weight on the Jimmy, I wondered how much the Grand weighed.

Still, probably 2x what your rig weighs. :tonka:

Front springs were tucked up as high as possible in the front to avoid obsticles . They also were sit into a holder that is angeled and protects the spring eye . The rear shackles are yet to be shortened which will level it up some . They will still sit at an angle , This is visual as it has no effect on how the spring works .

If it looks a foot higher that is an visual illusion

with the rear mount so low is it really that advantageous to have the front so high? Wouldnt the rear just get hung up on whatever the front didn't?

But your missing the point that the rears will be shorter , i just have not gotten to that yet . Those shackels will shorten up , Its a bit nose high and i need to drop the front a touch so shortening the shackels will take care of both issues .

No one said it was a cool ride , well i never said it any way . I said it was a no frills so so wheeler . Guess that covers any other build errors

I suppose its interesting simple because you do not see many GMC Jimmy wheelers .

CC the 5,100 on the Grand included 6 point cage , rather heavy duty bumpers . Im not sure what the stock weight was on it but they are a tub .

I'm not missing any point, it does not seem functional to have the shackles hanging so low while the front is so high, if it's not finished, fine then.

No one said it was a cool ride , well i never said it any way . I said it was a no frills so so wheeler .
