Default does your kitty do anything funny?

has learned how to open closet doors.

for the last two weeks, when I got home from work, I noticed every closet door in the house open part way.. I didn't realize what was going on until right now. Chauncy walked into my computer room, opened the closet, walked inside, then shut it behind him.

He also fetches. Literally.. Like a dog..

but he will only fetch water bottle tops..

Dood your such a batty boy!!

My cat brings my shoes and wallet to my door every morning. I leave my wallet and keys on the counter when I come home. He's pretty smart.

Mine jumps up on shelves, dressers, desks, ect., and knocks everything down just to have a place to sit or sleep. He'll even sprawl out on top of my sons 13" tv, must be warm or something I guess. The dumbass even knocked over my sons fish tank trying to get to the top of the tv. He could care less that there was a goldfish flopping around, he just wanted to snooze on top of the tv.

Tonya's cat is odd. He hides lighters. Just bic style ones. I have put my zippo, a battery, many different things, and he always hides lighters. I went around one time a lifted up all the furniture, and I found like 18 or 19 lighters. The other thing he likes is Beer Bottle tops.Batts them around all the time.

mine will play goaly. You have to use a special ball he likes, but you get him infront of a door, close it and start throwing the ball against the door and he will make all sorts of fantastic jumps and flips to get the ball. For some reason otherwise he is not much interested in balls.

He loves laying on papers. We have a special wooden old tyme crate box that the news papers go in and he loves to sleep on paper. If i put one piece of paper on my bed its right on that piece of paper he sits on. Forget about trying to read the news paper in the sun, he will come sit right in the middle of it.

He loves moving water. When our dehumifier drains into the wash tub in our basement, he must hear somethign cuase he goes down stairs and sits on the washing machine waiting for the water then he gets all wet catching the water.

Ohh he can open some doors depending on what kind of door knob, and he opens our entertainment center the hatch on the bottom holds his box of toys, he opens it up and gets out his cat nip and gets wasted. He is a total nip head.

ohh he turns on faucets cause he like the moving water, and he steals the rubber stopper in our wash tub.

One of mine opens drawers in the bathrooms and would constantly open the lids on the floor drains in Grand Blanc, which are just the right size for pool balls to fall down.

The other one sits on his ass with his rear legs in front of him like a human and will do this while watching TV. I have photo evidence of this one.

Years ago we had a cat that would Stalk G-Man every night. We would get in bed and he would jump up at our feet and slowly sneek his way up and put his paw out to touch his chin the pounce around his neck and bit his ears. And he let him do this evey night.

He only did it to me once and landed out in the kitchen floor!

But he climbed in the neighbors car by the motor one morning and when they turned the car on that was the end of that cat.

The Cat we have now is 13 or 14 years old. She stays in the garage and keeps to herself.

We have 6, so yes, they do all sorts of funny shit.

Abbie Night Ballantine (AKA walrus) drinks water from the glass on the end table next to the sofa, and gets all kinds of pissed off if there is not one there.

Tribble Divine Ballantine (AKA retard) licks the glasses from my mom's protein shakes, he's fond of that kind of stuff... He also slides down the stairs on his belly and knots up his fur, hours of fun, because he bites when you try to brush his tummy. Because he likes protein and hair in his diet, he has the uncanny knack to throw up in your shoes

Sonja Ballantine (AKA laundry-cat) is fat. She had a kitten. She never lost the weight. She camps out by the food dish, it's hysterical to watch her waddle down stairs, and when she rolls over on her back, she can't really get right-side up that well, so when you poke her with your toe, she mews and wobbles...

Alexander Marmalade Ballantine (AKA alex) will be walking along on the bed or couch, and suddenly just flop down and start purring, usually on your chest when you're trying to sleep, or recline in the couch reading a book... Totally out of nowhere. He also goes ass for french fries, smells them when you come in the door. Since he is a BIG cat (not fat, just huge), when he flops down on you, it effectively knocks the breath out of ya, and you are trapped till he wants to move.

Guido Ballantine (AKA squeedo)is insane. He cannot walk a straight line through a room without doubling back and jumping at the invisible faeries that only he can see. If you are reading, he's chewing on your book, same with trying to cook, change TV channels... He jumped into the sink while I was washing potatoes, then got totally indignant and freaked out because he got wet. He tries to bat at my knife while I am chopping things. He jumps into the dishwasher when you open it... He made Madison...

Sterling Madison Ballantine (AKA moosh) is the unholy offspring of Sonja and Guido. She likes to sit on the sink while my mom does her makeup. If, after the application of makeup, a can of food is not opened, she goes for the achilles tendon with teethy claws of death... She's immune to water, doesn't bother her at all. She likes to try to climb into the woodstove when you are adding wood, and hide under furniture to attack your feet...

It's very interesting living here to say the least...

People who find their pets behavior noteworthy are lacking some significant human to human social skills.
