Default ok, big dodge question.

Ok. here is the deal. my dad is trying to get a speed sensor signal from his rear end or his xcase. its a 2003.5 cummins ho with a auto trans and a nv 273 x case. the problem is the drive train is in a 98 chevy truck. the xcase he has now does not have a sensor on it, and the chevy rear end does not have one either. what can i do to get a speed signal.

they have kits at summit and jegs from autometer. it goes on the driveshaft and you dial it in by your gear ratio.
