Default Project North Of the Other Border

If you look at my avatar you can tell I am not from the Great Lake area….The reason I joined this forum is I have a few friends that live in Michigan that come down to AZ to wheel, and when I finish my rig I plan on going on a road trip up north ….

So here is the spec for my rig so far after 1.5 years:
• Full width MOG 404 steering axles front and rear with disc brakes / 8 lug conversion and BTF high steer arms.
• 42” SX swampers on H1 rims with rock rings.
• Full Hydro steering with double ended rams from PSC.
• 4.0 motor from a 2000 cherokee; NV4500, and atlas 4 speed (5.4).
• Suspension is a 4 link front and rear with 1.25” shank 1.00 ball Heim joints.
• 17” bilstein coil overs .
• 4.5” air bumps from rock equipment.com.
• 460 feet of 1.75” 120wall DOM.
• Front and rear winches (for suspension suck down).
• 2 full size front seats and a bench rear seat.

You don't wheel in the right spots.....although that rig would be overkill even in the right spots. :tonka:

99grandtj, my bad the tires are TSL’s….typo on my part oops.
Kodak450r for the 4 speed if I recall paid around $3,250 and was on a waiting list for a long tome (ordered it when they first came out)

Thanks for the compliments it has been a lot of work and time thinking things out…

Here are more pictures that show how I got to where I am now (not all will be in chronological order and some designs have changed)

Looks awesome, I really like how you did most of that. Just a couple questions:
What are the lower links made out of? Looks on the small side for that hardcore of a rig. Are they chromoly or something?
Why all that blingin awesomeness and only a 4.0L? Seems like a rig like that is just beggin for a built LS1 or something.
