my buddy had a set of baja claws on his truck.... i swear i could see the tread coming off those tires as we drove down the road. they wore VERY fast... not a good streetable tire.

i have 36" parnelli jones dirtgrips on my rig right now, and am pretty pleased with them on and offroad, except in rain and snow.... but thats to be expected i guess...

stay away from BFG's unless you plan to wear out the tread (40k miles) in a year or two....the last few sets I've had have dryrotted before they're wore out (yes, within two/three years)

Bumping this back up since I'll actually be buying them ASAP.

BFG MT's or probably Generals is what I'm thinking. Just trying to find a good deal somewhere. Damn prices went up like $20-25 everywhere I've seen.

Also, with 4.88's and the auto on an RE 4.5 SA lift would you go for 36's or simply stick with the 35x12.50's?

Rim's are Walker Evan's 15x8 beadlocks btw.

skooter_built has this same lift and has 36" iroks. They rub a little at full stuff.

I don't want to run anything that will wear out too fast though like the Trxus I have on now. That's why I'm thinking BFG or General's again.

I was going to suggest tho's...but they don't come in 15" wheel sizes yet. And Lothos has 15" WE. From what I read there is no plan to make a 35" in a 15" wheel.

what do you mean? new MT's not coming in 15" ? That seems kinda silly if the bulk of the market is still on 15's.

There will be 15" sizes available this fall...but the sizes I saw no 35". 33x12.50x15 biggest listed for the 15" wheel.
