Hey, I've got a great idea! Let's all go buy super-wide shit because its "cheaper" and then spend more than these axles cost to get the full-size set narrowed and probably still not even have flat-tops! Yay! :tonka:

Would these bolt right in a cj or would the perches need to be moved? Would this be alot better set up then the 20/30 set up I am putting together now?

Rear perches need to be moved. On the front, either the springs need to be outboarded, a full-width bracket kit needs to be purchased (I have a Poison Spyder kit if you want to see it), or the long side cut down to get the passenger spring off the diff. Or you could 4-link it and eliminate the leafs with coil-overs. Most people outboard the springs or buy the kit.

This would be an overall heavier-duty setup than what you have, but you'd need to gear it. In your case, you would want the set with the FSJ C20 rear that I have instead of the D44 rear, as it is stronger and your CJ C20 differential parts swap right in. Then you would only have to buy gears for 1 axle.

Yes. Its by itself, but can be paired with the front instead of the D44 rear for the same price.

What is the front brake- lockouts situation? The rear would be the same for my current rims but what would the front be?

FSJ axles are 6x5.5". The rear is not the same, either. You will need different rims.

Not sure what you are asking relative to the brakes and lockouts. Brake lines are just a matter of using the right fitting and these axles do not have lockouts. They have drive slugs. Lockouts fit right in place of them. Very simple installation.

Ok so if I had both the Fsj axles I would need to move the rear perches . Buy a full width kit ( about $400) for the front and lock outs. Then change to a 6x5.5 rims. As I want to change to a t-18 The gearing could be done later. Later I want to put lockers and gears in. Would sell my current axles and parts to go down this path.Just hate to put alot of money into the 20/30 setup just to want to upgrade later.

Well, you haven't spent much on your axles so far and are already geared.

What you said pretty much sums it up, though.
