Why would transfer case make it not shift??????? is it the 4wd linkage or the shifter linkgae(gears)?

This picture shows the bracket on the side of the tranny where the pivot bolts through the whole at the top of the bracket, and also shows the linkage hanging on the side.

So what has to be done to it. Theres a pivot ball at the top of that bracket were the clean medal is right?? all we have to do is tighten that up?

That's what I did but mine had loosened up.......you might want to take yours apart and look for ware.

We took it to the transmission shop they said its "probably gonna need a new trans" wtf and they want 1700 just to rebuild it. haha crack heads. But I looked at that bracket and it looks like theres just a big electrical plug on the top of it??? Idk.

It is definitely the bushwhacker flares. Fords don't really get along with them - take the flares off and it'll shift right again.
