$2.99 this morning near work - which was posted on 11/16 or friday
after the news said gas prices were on the rise. - heard on the news thursday night.
I filled up and still had 1/2 tank. - I always schedule my driving to get gas on days Tues-Thur. maybe the youngins haven't realized it yet, but gas stations usually rise prices on fri and drop them back down after mon. of course on long trips you can't do that. as reference to the statement it was a friday and I didn't need gas, but still filled up. it only took 7 gals

Seriously?

If you fill up, you have a full tank.
If you have 1/2 a tank, you did not fill up.

Sorry the rest of us are simple minded

Scheduling your fill ups? damn you really live for the moment

Ever think that us youngins don't really care about a 7 cent fluctuation in gas prices with a 19 gallon tank its a whole $1.33 more for a tank of gas whoo so much money. Hell a cup of coffee costs more than that.

Simple minded you call us but I believe that you are simple minded since you find it necessary to defamae our characters to make yourself feel better for your own stupidity

and I expect to get 500,000 miles out of my diesel. I like the idea of not buying another truck every 3-4 years.

Why? Take care of it properly and you should not have any problem getting that.

This is why I'm even that more anxious to start running home-brewbiodiesel in my Scrambler (hopefully next Spring/Summer).

Im not sure if you know this, but if you run bio diesel you have to pay road tax and if you dont and get caught it's a big fine.

Why waste your time with the bio diesel setup your putting together since you know the CJ-8 will belong to Scooter by then.

Save $10 in gas for every 100 miles. Thats what it comes down to for my truck. I get 10mpg avg. city/hwy. If a diesel gets 17......for every 100 miles at $3.70/gal for diesel you pay $21 bucks. I get to pay $31 dollars at $3.10 a gallon.

So, who makes a 4cyl TD I can easily swap into an old Grand Wagoneer to create my dream truck???

Talk to Chuck at NW4x4 in Traverse City. He swapped a 4cyl diesel into his FS Cherokee from a panel truck. I think it was a suzuki motor.
