So in your opinion what are the best aftermarket shafts you can buy for a dana 44 front?????? Why?

Wow that is a loaded question for sure. Everyone has their favorites, usually the ones they run are the "best."

Alloy USA has good service and a good product. I dunno if I would call their shafts the BEST, but they certainly stand behind them.

I run Warns Chromo's in my EB, Spooled with 38'' boggers with no problems so far(3 yrs of running it pretty hard). I have heard ppl having good luck with Yukons also.

Ive seen warns break on fullsize chevy with a spool and 37s and i broke yukons with 39.5s so im not sure what that means. You know how matt and myself drive dont you Rich.

I also run CTM u-joints with mine. I am also not as heavy as a full size rig too. Im sure that makes some difference

"best" superior or ctm (yes the axle shafts not the joints)

"best for the money" depends on who you ask

u joints- depends on who you ask, i prefer longfields

I have yukon chromo's in my front 44 and alloy's in the rear. you can get the yukons off ebay from complete off road for dirt cheap.

I have 1 moser, 1 yukon & 2 warns with Jantz joints. I haven't broken anything. But then, I drive really carefully.
