Default Trans F*cked??

OK... I have a '97 Ram 2500. It has been sitting for about 5 years now. I went to go start it up, before I did so, I released the parking brake (E brake) and the thing started to roll down the damn hill. It was still in "P". I stepped on the brakes and turned the truck on... 1, 2, D, R... nothing responded...

Any ideas? Anyone have similar problems?

Linkage popped off? Take a peek underneath and see if the rod is disconnected

Mine had park, though. Mine is an issue of a bad fluid leak, so it wouldn't move due to being 3 quarts low on fluid.

I still gotta find someone I trust to fix it, now that KillerB is gone south...

You can put that trust in Tranny Tom. I've done tons of business with him throughout the years. He does great work!
