Those have alot of hang up points.... at the very least, find a set without the extra tube hanging down.

I would go with something body mounted like poison spyder or shrockworks.

it almost seems like those were installed upside down. like the bottom portion should be a rocker protector and the top the actual slider.

You are right as far as upside down, but I was looking at a set of these a while back and they can actually be mounted either way. Suppose to be Steps or Sliders pending your preference. Though like everyone else is saying, these have a lot of hang points, so I decided against as well.

this is my girlfriends jeep (some of you have saw my thread on it) i was just wondering how much money was put into this before she bought it, because im looking into getting a TJ sometime in the future.
I do like the way these look but i know now that their not the best buy. so now i know what to avoid

they have some like that in 4wdhardware and it shows that they can be mounted both ways ..they have a bit high prices but you can get a good idea about what different ones look like anyway

I've been saving up for the Ricochet Rockers by Poison Spider Customs. Not only a good slider from what I hear, but a great when you're burried to the bottom of the door in mud. You got a nice step so you can get to the winch or tailgate easily. :tonka:
