Default dual tank problem, 95 f-350

got a 95 f-350 with dual tanks, when i try to put gas in the front tank the pump shuts off or it will over flow like its full, except its empty. any tips, is there a screen in there that might be clogged up?

It is not that hard to look at the front, just check to make sure there is not a kink in the fill hose, you might have to re adjust the hose, as far as a screen there should not be anything in the way just a few bends. Or try not running the pump at full blast, i had one of my tanks on my 96 F-350 that i couldnt use the turbo setting at the pump.

x2 but in my situation it's my rear tank. Want to switch gear tanks so you have a matching set??

sounds like a plugged "burping" line. The pump shuts off because it is sensing back pressure in the fuel fill. I'd take the fill hose off the tank and run a pipe cleaner thru the hose and the tube.
