Default Wheeling in the UP

Are you legal when you only have a ORV sticker to be if you are not going to be on major highways? Like US 2. I am not running a 4wheeler, I will be running a Suzuki Samurai which I know it is over width for an ORV trail. I just herd from a friend you are legal with an orv sticker no insurance, no plate and no regrestion... I have no idea HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

The UP is an interesting situation. Legally I do not know the answer to your question. If you contact the DNR they can tell you. I can say I have seen some crazy shit in the UP on the ROADS let alone out in the woods.

I would probably look at the title. I'm assuming ORV's would have something along the lines of "ORV" instead of "Station Wagon" or "Truck". I'd assume that if it said "truck" etc.. then a plate would probably be a good idea.
