Default 95 YJ Build-Up

We've been building this jeep for a "FEW" months now and it was finally road worthy last night so My friend Dan let his Boy Russ take it for it's first ride.. Here is a few pics.. I'll post some more up on the build up of this jeep later..
He really didn't want a wheeler mostly he wanted a sweet looking concrete roller to haul his dirtbike to the track.. I think he succeeded .. I especially like the grill..

The grill is actually 2 grills, a YJ and a TJ.. Dan used a TJ Front, Sectioned it into 9 pieces, evenly spaced them, and morphed them onto the YJ Back. Then the fenders had to be lengthened to match the TJ Flares. The turn signals are going into the front bumper so he didn't put those into the fenders to give it a cleaner look.. Here is a couple pics of the Grill Going together.

This pic is without the fenders being lengthened. but the grill being finished.. Every weld seem has a thin coat of dura glass then a thin coat of bondo to smooth it out.

I like the grill look, Might have to steal that Idea for my Jeep so I can have the YJ hood and fender i like better but still have round headlights, since they say real jeeps have round headlights or some crap

It's been awhile but here is a little update.
Bumper is Done. Remember its a concrete roller. The bumper is the way his boy wanted it
And the mirrors are just a stencil I made up and he painted, he put clear on the mirrors.. I'm waiting to see how this holds up.. Might help with the fading mirror syndrome.

Yeah with the 30 up front that really makes it a concrete only ride.. Maybe next year we'll throw 44's in it then it'll be able to at least play around SL.

What size tires are those? the 30 should be alright, if it has a d35 rear thats the thing to be worried about

To Be Honest.. Him and His Dad have helped me a ton and without them I wouldn't be able to even remotly build my jeep right now so when mine is done he's more than welcome to go beat the hell out of it so there isn't any reason to destroy his.. It's just a sweet looking DD. But to make his a wheeler is no more than swaping the axles and with a spring over that's as easy as Chop-Cut-Weld-Install
