I'm dieting........

I have also quit drinking.........well except for 2 beers a couple of days ago, but that doesn't count

Some of you may know how it is.......getting married, having kids, and working too much. Well I have put on a few pounds in the 10 years I have been married. 15-20lbs to be exact. 11 years ago I had a 31" waist and weighed 205. Today I am....chubby muscle toned..... So far I have lost 6 pounds in 4 days I am looking to drop down to an even 200lbs of sexy.

Gotta get rid of the gut so I can tie my snowboard boots

just hard when you always have to eat out.

I do much better at home when i can regulate all the ingredients

I have been eating a piece of fruit for breakfast, meat(grilled or broiled) if any with a salad for lunch. Then a salad for dinner if at all. Very small amount of dressing if any. Absolutely nothing after 5pm.

At home it's Activia yogurt or cereal for breakfast

Either a sandwich or homemade hamburger etc for lnch

Dinner is either grilled chicken/meat with rice. Or a Salad.


Trying to not eat after 7pm.......

You put on 15-20 pounds in 10 years? I did that in six months starting back in January. Of course, I sit at work in front of a computer 8-9 hours a day, then spend many nights sitting at home studying for classes for several hours. Class weekends I'm sitting in class 4-9pm Fridays and 8am-5pm Saturdays. Then I sit on the tractor 2-3 hours a weekend. All I do is sit on my ass. :tonka: Only 5 more weekends of classes though and I graduate Dec 7. Then I can only blame being fat on being lazy.

I'm trying to eat better, but I'm also running a couple of miles a day.

I can do that in a month.

I put on 40 last this past year. After I worked hard to drop 45 the year before. I hope to get down to 205-210. All I need to do is stay away from beer and fast food.

I started again last sunday. Already down 6.5 pounds. I havent even started to use the jogger yet. I just cut my calorie count down to below 2000 and can lose weight pretty quick. I must take in 5K-6K when not dieting.

but seriously I broke my leg 2 years ago and gained 20 due to the fact I was unable to walk for 3 months.

I lived in the dorms for three years here at Tech, and i would just eat to much when i was in the dining hall. now i live off campus an have lost about 10 lbs, but thats not saying much considering i gained 75 in the past three. but i'm working on it!!

Here's the real question. How much have you gained since you graduated high school. I graduated at about 155-160. I'm currently 230. So that's 70-75 pounds since high school. I added a lot of muscle in college at least. Or that's my excuse.

Yeah I am on a diet too...

When I graduated highschool I was 150-155 pounds. I weighed 160 a week ago and am down to 155 now. Last year I was around 150 all winter.

Worked in pizza kitchen for last 17 years...I'm up about 140lbs from when i graduated highschool. I have lost about 25lbs in the last 4 months on the road to not being a granola bar away from a heart attack. I think I would rather be trying to quit smoking! (I don't smoke)
