Default Going to school today..

I'm stopping at my sons school today to find out who gave permission to the science teacher to spend TWO days watching and discussing Al Gores, An Inconvenient Truth.
I had only seen parts of this movie, so I went to BlockBuster and used a free coupon to rent it. I figured I better know what I'm talking about when I start yelling in the principles office.
They are teaching this piece of shit as TRUTH.

I can't beging to tell you how pissed off I am.

One of the quotes that jackass uses was from Winston Churchhill. I'll have to paraphrase it.
When talking about recent storms (Kitrina) that the government failed to warn people about, he quotes Churchill as tell the English in the 1930's "Their is a storm approching, we can no longer procrastinate or become complaisant".
He was talking about Hitler, not the fvcking weather!!!
What a pile of shit movie.

Sorry Stan, they should have sent a note home as a heads-up at the least, or presented it as an opinion and political piece.

You'd think it would be common sense to send home a permission slip. But then again common sense is no longer "common"

I think Al Gore also created Global Warming. He did this just to give himself something to talk about that could make him seem smart.

What? A teacher with liberal views? Really?

How odd...

Seriously, though, this board and its stance on global warming is pretty funny sometimes...

Spoke to a friend with kids in Romeo schools. They gave them the option to watch the movie or do internet research.
He said 80% of the kids chose research.

We were never given that option.

I know they did some analysis on him that per person he himself pollutes more than anyone with the jets and special crap he requires. I can't remember who said it tho.

seriously gore is just like all the other "activists" like Michael Moore, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, wherever there is attention to be given to them you will find them. they could care less of the facts or how stupid they look as long as people are paying attention to them
