The first piece of information is to not do it. I don't have a problem with hockey pucks for lifts as long as you don't stack them. Once you start stcking them bad things can happen to your body mounts. If you want to do a 1" hockey puck lift you'll need 11 hockey pucks, making sure they are good quality and not made in china. Next you'll need to different sizes of bolts (can't recall what sizes though). Remove all the bolts from one side of you jeep and buy two identical sets except 1" longer.

To do the lift you'll need to lossen the body mounts on one side and remove the other side. Use a longish block of wood and jack the body off the frame and install the first set of pucks but leave the bolts a little loose. Then jack up the opposite side the same way as before and do that side. Expect some broken bolts or worse welded nut plates when you do it if it's from michigan.

AGAIN I WOULDN"T RECOMMEND YOU DO A @" PUCK LIFT!

I agree. I had a 1" hockey puck body lift on my yj for 4 years without issue. I was in a 100 mph. combined speed head on collision.
It held up and I'm still here...

Body lifts add leverage, and that leverage will fatigue body mounts (and the body near the mount) faster.
