I still haven't gone up it. I had a stock 01 XJ, and that hill scared the crap out of me. I felt like such a wuss after a POS 80's trailblazer wobbled up it.

Swampjeep? :tonka: Sounds like his silver lake jimmy

Crappiest I have seen go up is an AWD Safari van with the side door open and kids hanging out of it

subaru outback.

if you are at the dunes next time I am there ill take you up for the first time first in the buggy then ill drive you up in your truck. you should have no problem making the hill are you down shifting the trans or leaving it in high gear? The other thing that will kill newer vehicles is traction control advance trac or anything like that has to be off.

I was leaving it in 4wd low while on the dunes. it's auto, no trac control or anything. I think I was just scared because it was my first time on the dunes and everyone else there had a bigger vehicle than me.

I think going that fast is probably a bad idea on the dunes where people are constantly getting hurt and dieing from doing dumb stuff of the like.:miff:

x2, people endo doing less then 5mph on some hills, let alone going over 40 up and over hills

If test scared you, then the last hill in the series before the exit should really give ya pucker factor
