Default Who all owns cabins?

My wife and I took advantage of the crappy Michigan economy and just bought one near Big Star Lake (SW of Baldwin). Closed on it Friday and stayed the weekend with our two sons. Hope to do a bunch of dirtbiking and maybe some snowmobiling. Who else owns cabins??

You are close to a decent orv loop for bikes but go north and west for better trails. West Branch, St. Helen, Denton-Leota, West Higgins etc. You are less than an hour from all of them.

I partially own cabins in West Branch and Prudenville with family.

Congrats. I'd rather give my money to those counties up north who know how to use it wisely.

As soon as I fix my bent front rotor I'll be heading up one more time before winter. PM me when you will be up and maybe we can hook up

Not sure how familiar you are with the area but attached is a little map I just worked up. Download the orv pdf's here ->

We sold ours in Harrison a few years ago, dumb decision! My buddy has a cottage in Roscommon and we try to make it up there once a month. Lots of great trails to ride our bikes and quads on but i dont know of any full size or two track trails (never payed attention). We're heading up the 26th-28th for deer camp, good times

parents sold their cabin and 80 acres of hunting land with it, they made an obscene amount of profit on it. do i miss that cabin, yes, did i enjoy the 10k "gift" that dad gave me that year for xmas? yup.

Buttsecks? :tonka:

We don't have a cabin, and I'm guessing we probably never will. It would be nice, but my goal is to pay off our house early and pack away some cash to travel a little later in life. We'll probably mooch off you cabin-owning folks once in a while, though.
