34 - I don't believe there should be any government imposed social regulations establishing "proper" behavior. I can understand limiting the age for purchase, but not for consumption. That restriction is up to the parents to establish and enforce, not the government.

26 - Before I was 21, it was cool to drink. I wanted to do it all the time but didn't really have the chance. I snuk a beer here or there from my parents, but nothing much. I was at silver lake once and with a bunch of friends. Only one of us was old enough to buy so we sent her to get what we wanted. That was the first time I got smashed.

Now that I am 26, I don't really drink much. I have a beer here or there. If I am working in the barn I will have one, or if I have somebody over I will drink.

I kind of agree with the idea that if the age is less than 21 it won't be as cool and will cause less problems. But I also think that it could present other problems that are not already issues.

I voted no age limit. Getting alcohol from stores or even at a bars all depends on knowing where to go. I was buying booze when I was 15 and had to get a fake ID when I was 17 to get into certain bars/clubs.

That is very common....it loses it's "rebelious" feeling.

As far as no age limit, that is crazy. My 5 year old shouldn't be able to buy beer, but as far as being 21, I think that 18 is just fine. I am 23.

Raze: to raze (third-person singular simple present razes, present participle razing, simple past razed, past participle razed)

1. To demolish; to level to the ground.
2. To scrape as if with a razor.

x2

18 - If the government believes that you have the mental capacity to make a decision that could affect the entire nation and/or be old enough to fight for our country.... then the government should think you are responsible enough to make a decision about yourself and your drinking habits.
