In the process of building a 10 sec drag car for a budget should I scrap the idea, make the jk sweet or.... do basic mods to the jk and build the race car.

10 sec jk cost more then the budget car... A few people in detroit have been running there mouths about a 10 sec street car and my buddy and I have the resources to make one as well.... Basicly it will consist of less then 4 grand to build..

why does it matter im 19 im going to have fun before I have to move out and buy a house. Im not going to rent its throwing money away and my credit is good but I want it better so I get an amazing interest rate when I go to buy. Its going to be a honda civic the car is 700 and the engine were putting in is getting boost. the car is so light and what we are going to do makes it perfect the only thing is I race rwd usually and its going to be a new world of fwd.

Not really.... Light weight plus k20a3 engine mean lots of quickness. so far our project is at 2500.... we have the spare engine and we found the donor car. we might be missing a few things but it will be a 10 sec car.
