So... any progress? If we need to schedule a "Blazer day" where you get get away from the trips for a few hours with Brett, John, Matt, myself, or whomever, we should do it.

Slow but steady-
-Rad and e-fan mounted
-center console tubes in place, sheet metal cut

Currently working on under-dash wiring and fixing some SHADY existing wiring in the engine compartment.

Good to hear about the progress. I should come over and check it out.

I almost have my tubing bender operational, then the cage, doors and maybe bumpers will be on their way.

Just drove past your house yesterday and wondered how the truck was coming.

Hope the little ones are doing good.

Thanks for the compliments :), future plans are some 2.5s in the rear and some deavers for about 18". Right now I know that is going to be the weak link. It should ride decent though. Front should be plush with an initial rate of ~200, ramping up to 500 at the 9" mark. I can't wait to test it out on the dunes

That's beat, although I did drive most of the way to the dunes with a dead alternator once, gets a little sketchy at night

There's one real deep one along the fence area that swallowed a buggy when we were there. Not sure why the buggy was trying to cross the water??

My buddies are there with their big superduties, I'll convince them to go into that hole.

Brian-- how did those superduty's do??

Got the e-fan wired up and working well. Taurus 2-speed but only have high working for now, can always add the low-speed later

Next up is work on the center console and get the radiator inlet and outlet hoses routed around the tubes

No time for pics, wheelin' too much. Stayed at a friends property in Mears, trails, trees, way too much fun.

Default Update 8-23-08

Worked on it for about an hour today, and finally have some updated pics. Since I can't find another home for the Audi seats, I guess they're going in the K5! They're so comfy. The coolest part of them I think is that the pass seat has a front compartment that holds a special Audi survival kit with first aid stuff, a blanket, etc.

Last pic is the center panel that covers the shifter, battery disconnect, hold the e-fan switch, etc.

i think i must have missed it but i noticed the pictures, did you lower the frame body mounts and raise the mounting point on the body?

The body stayed at the same height to the frame, but I ditched the rubber mounts and moved the frame mounts up ~2 inches so I could bolt straight to the body. They are kinda of overkill since the body/cage is tied to the frame in 10 places.
