Motor Trend

So I'm thumbing through the latest issue and there doing some dumb shootout thing that involves a new Toyota FJ Cruiser.

And, well, I kinda like it.

Thats all.

the stats on it in a offroad mag seemed impressive. I think with different bumpers, it'd become a whole new animal.

Yep I think it will give the H3 a run for its money....and with more power to boot at less of a cost.

i like it up to the window sill/belt line of the C pillar. Thats a gawd awful styling cue on that rig. Looks like after thought, or mistake, everything else except the IFS is good to me. (yes i know its a fj-40 hardtop wraparound glass they are trying to be retro .... its over stylized and to showy and i dunno gay for a lack of a better word. Fj-40 look like all busines and bad ass that rear 1/3 looks dumb to me)

Shoulda had a solid front and i would consider buying new, if toyota can bring it with a diesel *crosses fingers* , since DCX disappointed me by leaving it out of the new wrangler.

It's built off the 4runny chassis/drivetrain like most manufactures do, so I think solid front axle was out of the question. To bad its only availible with a rear e-locker. I wouldn't rule out a Diesel yet.....
