Default Recycling Old Coolant

Hey where does everybody go to recycle their old coolant? I checked around a couple places (murray's etc.) and no one would take it.

DO NOT go by this but I called the city of Rochester Hills and they told me to flush it

a local shop that works on my dads car and all of his company vehicles takes my coolant for me. i use to just keep it in milk gallons but my dad got tired of looking at it.

if I may.. at the dealer we used to delute it as it hit the floor in the flush bays, it was then hosed down with enough water to make it harmless. just remember even Mt. dew has Glycol in it, its safe to a point

The city of Warren has a recycling center and they will take 5 gallons per trip there.
Have to be a resident to go there, maybe you city has one too.

no the real trick to getting rid of old coolent is to do a 50-50 mix with old oil and take it in. they never can tell the diffrince!:tonka:

same thing i do mix it with the old oil and take it to murrays they never know and plus you get rid of the oil at the same time
