Default who has a metal break for 1/8 th in plate

wasn't get in much action in wanted so i posted it here!:miff:


I need to bend up some 1/8th plate steel 14"x34" need to bend it the 14" width only

I put in a new front floor section in one peice and the old mount part goes in after wards but its rusted and I wnat to make a new straonger one out of plate steel..

1/2 in make a bend then another 7" make another bend need to make 2 of them, so 4 bends total
its for my front body mounts,

Minus the dots damm thing wouldn't space it over with out them!

Do you happen to have a hydralic press? For something that size, you can make a 'die' to do it with just some piece of thick gage angle iron..

Nope..

worse case it angle iron on teh welding table and heat and bend!

Depending on the size of the schools around you... usually career centers they may have something and if you talk the teachers they are sometimes will to do it to teach the kids. I might have just had luck doing this because i know a couple though. but when i was in highschool the o so many 3 years ago we were doing other peoples stuff for projects
