fact- people like Gary Coleman are what is wrong with the buyers of this country. Keep knocking American cars and saying how great the japs are. . The difference in PPH is next to nothing on his link.

Good points buddy

that is a terrible argument!

Let me ask how....how many times have you had to take a car to the dealer for an issue? Was it 234...or whatever number you are talking about?

Are you seriously asking me to list the number of problems I had with my '04 Blazer? CC would have to grant me super-posting privileges for that!

Yeah, when he says they are good quality in the following sentence, that proves he agrees they are of good quality.
"Because people that have good quality cars just want to off them right away."

Is it really hard to see?

I look for:
style
quality
how easily it is manufactured (this is the greatest impact on quality)
Fact: I live in Michigan and a difference in two problems with my vehicle per year hurts my wallet twice as much as one.
If that hurts your wallet, then tanking any one of the domestic OEM's will flat out kill you. Even if the cars are assembled in Mexico/ Canada there are at least 5 jobs in Michigan tied to that car. GM alone makes up a good percentage of the country's GDP (let alone MI). Think things all the way down, even of the cars were the biggest crap piles on the road, in the end it would pay for Michigan people to drive/ buy them.

I totally agree and that's why I have never owned a Japanese car and never will. I see how buying American, at the expanse of quality, impacts my economy in a positive way.
