A guy who went by OffroadJeep on MJ - no longer active - real name Dan, has them on his jeep, he bought them off of another MJer used Maybe SaharaYJ or something like that. They both seemed to like the Monoleafs fine. My guess is that they would end up sagging something fierce in the long run but that's just my guess. If monoleafs were where it's at, there'd be more companies that offered them also the super companies like old man emu and National would prolly try them out and they go in the opposite direction and use more than normal numbers of leafs. My opinion, if you want six inches go SOA.

Lots of stock suspensions are mono...I was just wondering.

As far as SOA...I don't think i'll ever go there. I don't want the problems associated with that and I don't have a gazillion dollars to make all the corrections to fix all the problems associated with SOA. With all the extra fab needed to correctly and reliably do SOA I would rather go with coils.

do NOT go with the mono-leaf set up. It rode like shit, had no flex and if you think about it, 1 leaf supporting your rig on each corner is scary.

A lot of older Luminas have a mono-leaf rear suspension, and they all break and the ass end drops to the ground.
