People have a hard time understanding that even though your anti virus program and even your anti spyware programs say your computer is clean, it still has the possibility to not be.

And if your getting stray ads from a site that doesn't have popup ads, then your computer IS infected.

Do a search on and download Prevx. HAs worked for me for the last year or two.

Virus software cannot prevent the installation of spyware when you accept it. Chances are you went to a website where you had to install some sort of program into your IE to watch a movie, or download a mp3..

Anyways, you chose to install it, (or your virus program sucks) and you now have to get rid of it.

You should seriously look into http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Firefox prevents this crap from happening.

already have both and firefox can't completely prevent it from happening since it happened last night. Plus it is random when it does pop up. Last time it happened was a month ago or so, then before that like a week.
