Maybe if he were to paint it with a rebel flag.

A.J., do a google search on "teardrop trailers" and look at some of the history behind these things - it is a cool bit of history that he is building on his own - and there is no place for Big tires and wheel wells.

So Jeepr... how's the Flattie coming along? Please tell me that the flattie will tow this trailer- that'd be the coolest camping set up ever. like +1,000,000,000 street cred.

For a billion street cred, I may give it a shot. It wouldn't be any trouble getting it going, it's the whole "stopping" thing that worries me.

What I meant was to put like some 14 inch wide 35's on it. It would look sweet pulling behind a Jeep. Wasn't trying to redneck his trailer.lol. Regardless what he does with it. I know seeing him build this thing makes all of us want to goout and build our own.lol.

14 inch wide 35s on a teardrop trailer = redneck.

I have no doubt in my mind that a redneck would think it would be nice.

ummmm no it wouldn't! maybe some tires that match the jeep towing it, only in a smaller size so they didn't look too big in relation to the trailer

Flatties were pulling teardrops 50 years ago on 9" drums. Upgrade to 11" drums or disk front and 11" drums rear. I don't think you would have trouble with upgraded brakes. I have 10" brakes on my flatty and have towed my loaded M416 without issue, as well as stopped it without issue.

Re-look at page 2 of this thread and how cool those pics are. The inly issue as a camping rig is the flatty barely goes 55mph to get where you want to go :tonka:

Looking great!

For teh ScOoTeR I went out and built the rear hatch today.

Have you ever had one of those days when everything is just a complete pain in the ass? The first thing I did was smash my left pointer finger with a ball-peen hammer.. :miff:

I wrecked a bunch of other stuff too, but the hatch came out pretty good..

Here is a better shot of the one door that I installed the window in.

Getting pretty close to epoxy, paint, and aluminum trim time!!
