I Vaguely remember the writeup... IIRC it was on a foreign car chassis and suspension. It used a 2wd AX5 out of something too... don't remember what.

Mebbe a supra? The toyotas used variants of the AX5/AX15/AW4 transmissions in the trucks and cars...

I always thought a true 'Rat Rod' was a vehicle assembled from parts that looked like they were lying around, with no paintwork done... it is supposed to look 'aged'.
