Default Horse trailer

Has anyone ever cut the top off of a horse trailer and used it for a truck hauler? Me and a friend have a chance to get one for next to nothing and i was wondering what it would take. It is like 40 ft and has sleeping quarters up front.
Thanks

good idea. a couple of my friends use their horse trailers to haul their quads back and forth to the dunes. it's nice having a full living quarters in the parking lot.

i quit drinking after i turned 21, wasn't any challenge to it. yeah, you may have been bad, but i think your day is over old man. dont wanna get drunk and break a hip now do ya? i have drank in 3 country's and a dozen states and never had to board a ship full of sea men to do it i am wearing my flak jacket to the next meeting, so aim for the groin or head.

the thing you may have to consider is the roof holding the sides together may be part of the structural engineering of the trailer. It may fall apart after driving if you don't have the support from the roof.
