hey Quad guys....

Looking at getting a couple of 110cc quads for my girls....tell me what you think abou these: http://www.bestpriceatvs.com/product...cat=248&page=1

Free shipping to my door @ $518 each....I have been shopping around and researching for a few weeks, and these look to be the best for the price.

Thanks

Justin

great deals just keep up on on oils and service ing them cause getting parts can sometimes be a pain......i know people who have bought them and they work well and hold up well.........i mean hell no reason to spend 8 or 9 thousand dollars and them out grow them in a few years

The small 90CC 4 wheelers are only around $2200 new and they don't lose much value. Even 5 year old models are selling for $1500.

I don't trust those cheap Chinese atv's. I have seen a few of them and they are just JUNK!

its not like my girls are going to be racing them....they are just going to be for putting around the yard and having fun....maybe a trail or 2, but nothing major.

besides, the way I look at it, is I can buy 4 of these for the cost of a 90cc kawasaki and 5 for the cost of a 90cc honda

Thing you got to note is that it is a 110 cc 4 stroke. Based on my experience, it will perform like a 60cc 2 stroke (half the cc). What approx weight are your girls as it will only cost them when trying to climb a hill.

ive been around a few of the chinese ones, and they arent too bad. the engines are build from the honda molds from the honda 50-110cc bikes and atc's they had. im pretty sure all the parts are interchangable with the honda engine parts. they are cheaper metal than the hondas were, but the same design and honda parts will work. they have plenty of power.

i know a few people with them as well, and for the money they perform quite well.....I realize they are 4 strokes, I like that idea for better longevity...

right now girls are 9 and 7, and my son will be 2 next year.....

my uncle has one and says with the throttle screw turned all the way in, it is still to fast for his 5 yr old grandson. another nice thing is that most of them have a remote shutdown so you can sit on the porch and still keep them out of too much trouble.

IMHO, I would buy used Honda's 70-125's. When the kids outgrow them, you can resell and likely not loose any money. I don't think that will happen with the Chinese machines. If you can spend a little more, look into used Honda 90's as they are a sound investment used and require little to no maintenance. I have a 2002 Honda 90 that will start on the first pull even after sitting for months. These engines don't even have an oil filter...just drain and refill.

Good luck either way...but know I have heard some horror stories of people waiting for transmission parts for new Kasea's for month's on end.

they are absolut pieces of crap and parts might be easy to get now but in one year they will be nonexistant.

if you get them thats fine but i have seen way too many of them that have stupid stuff continually break and you just cant get them fixed.

On most of those Chineese Quads the parts are interchanable with Honda's I've riden a few of the 90's and the 110's and I say for a Kid there perfect..

X eleventybillion.

The $600 Chinese ATVs that were prevalent when I bought my kids used Hondas two years ago are gone and have been replaced with others. It's a gamble - will they need parts at some point, will I be able to find (or adapt) other parts to fit, and is it worth it if one kid's quad runs and the other doesn't?
